Dedicated to increasing cybersecurity awareness and equipping individuals and organizations to defend against cyber threats, the University of Perpetual Help System-Isabela participated in the regional Hack4Gov competition. The event was held on August 29, 2024, at the Cloud Conference Hall, CSU Andrews Campus, in Tuguegarao City with the theme "Today's Generation, Tomorrow's Champion: Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity through Shared Responsibility." The competition featured 11 teams from various campuses in Region 02. Participants engaged in a hands-on, immersive Capture the Flag experience, tackling real-world cyber security challenges. The College of Information Technology and Engineering's Digiperps 1 secured the 2nd place, composed of John Lloyd Quijano, Kurt Baron Agliam, Louie Jhay Catolos, and Glenn Gabriel Castillejo.   In the world of cybersecurity, great responsibility comes with it. Kurt Baron Agliam, also known as "FROSTBITE," proved his exceptional capabilities by being named as the ‘Wildcard Player’ among 44 participants in Region 2 at the 2024 Hack4Gov Competition. This victory earned him a prestigious opportunity to compete in the National Hack4Gov Competition in Manila, Philippines, this October 2024.   The competition took place at the Claude Conference Hall at CSU Andrews Campus in Tuguegarao City on August 29, 2024. Crystal Quim Diwa, SSC President for SY 2023-2024 from the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna-Isabela Campus, received the Youth Leadership Excellence Award (YLEA) for her outstanding contributions and leadership throughout her term. Her dedication to making a positive impact in her community and her exceptional performance in her role as SSC President were key factors in her recognition. In the cooking contest at the "Master Chef Edition" of Buwan ng Kabataan 2024, the Perpetualites from the University of Perpetual Help System—Isabela Campus bested other contestants in the said event. The team remained focused and gave an impressive performance despite being late for 30 minutes at the start.   The team is composed of Gerald Gulan and Precious Joy Darcen, both 4th-year Hospitality Management students, and Jamaica P. Junio, a TESDA alumna, showed exceptional cooking skills and creativity. Against four other competitors, they showed so much creativity with their dishes.   This win shows their personal skills and how strong their university is in cooking programs.
